Suffolk-born Alex Monroe established his jewellery brand in 1986 after studying at Sir John Cass School of Art in London. His reputation for originality, quality craftsmanship and mischievous designs earned him the prestigious “Designer of the Year” award at the UK Jewellery Awards in 2008.
The Suffolk countryside has provided a wealth of inspiration for Alex Monroe, and the influence of organic forms can be clearly seen in his collections. Alex’s designs have an inherently English feel, with a delicate femininity and grace that makes them timeless. The originals are hand-crafted in Sterling Silver by Alex, and the collections are then handmade in his London studios.
