Each piece, designed by Rezende Sobral, represents the sheer vibrancy of modern Brazilian culture - one of fastest growing economies in the world for technology, manufacturing and creativity. Rezende Sobral started designing over thirty years ago. He saw resin being transformed into one of a kind, handmade and exclusive jewellery. He started to handmake resin jewellery in 1978 on a small farm in Rio de Janeiro, an artisan with a natural ability to experiment with shapes and colours. His work quickly received attention from the fashion world.
Every individual piece of Jackie Brazil jewellery is hand polished, which is a very long, labour intensive task. Jackie Brazil creates his stunning designs with Acrylic Resin, using a number of different techniques to produce the charismatic patterns and colour combinations which can be seen throughout the collection.
