Wendy Pickard founded The Branch in 2003 after years of experimenting with bespoke designs and creations inspired by her environment. Her passion for high-quality, natural and beautiful materials drives the innovative designs of her jewellery.
The Branch’s jewellery is created by a core team of local experts and talented craftsmen in Indonesia, where The Branch endeavours to use only ethical and sustainable Wood sources and local materials.
Each item is predominantly handcrafted using traditional techniques. The Wood is never treated with chemicals, varnish or colour stains. Nothing but conditioning beeswax is applied, to allow the natural beauty and unique grains of the Wood to speak for themselves.
