Founder Ashley Sinclair Marshall left his role as top chef to some of the most renowned restaurants, to pursue a career in jewellery design, having made his first piece at age 9.
He traveled to South America to gain inspiration for his premier collection. Marshall was blown away with the skills and techniques that he discovered. This collection was manufactured with the help of the indigenous Mayan Indians he met in the jungles of in 1995.
This first collection was instantly taken up by Paul Smith and Ungaro, encouraging Marshall to continue his Azuni designs.
Although his designs have evolved with the changing fashions, Marshall stays true to the Azuni philosophy of using the highest quality natural materials:
