Childhood memories of Cinderella’s sister who cut off her toes to fit into the glass slipper, Pippi Longstocking’s quirkiness and an adult memory of being so moved by Giacometti’s sculptures that she wanted to wrap them in blankets to stop their loneliness, are a few of Janie’s influences which give a fascinating insight into the unique mind behind this jewellery, from a designer who, without geographical roots, has found her home within her work.

The exquisite quality of Janie’s jewellery and bridal accessories results from a perfectionist’s hand and a background in fine art and fashion design from Central Saint Martins School of Art. Her studio is located in Victoria Park, East London where she works along side her assistant and skilfully trained makers overseeing every piece, ensuring the highest quality.
