A Fabulous Summer Garden Party!
fabulous held its annual Summer Garden Party for the 4th year running yesterday, at beautiful Mallory Court Hotel, just outside Leamington Spa.
The Garden Party is a very popular event, where customers have the chance to meet designers and their representatives over a glass of Pimm's, while chatting in the sunshine and browsing the collections of jewellery.
Mallory Court provides the perfect setting for the event, with Simon Haigh and his team creating a lovely Summer lunch in the dining room at the main house. Guests meander gently around the Drawing Room, Lounge and Conservatory, stopping on the way to admire and try on pieces of jewellery.
With over 60 guests there again this year, the event continues to be a sell-out. Here are some photos of the event.

Race for Life Solihull - a fabulous success!

A fabulous celebration of Mum!
Wednesday night saw 45 fabulous customers enjoying a Fashion Show of new Spring and Summer jewellery, whilst sipping pink bubbly and nibbling canapes. The event, in celebration of Mother's Day, brought mums and kids (and the occasional dad!) to enjoy the Show.
With new collections on show from Swatch, Thomas Sabo, Nomination, Lola Rose and Antica Murrina Venezia, customers had the chance to see the new trends and colours for Spring and Summer. Collections were modelled by some of fabulous' existing customers and their children, all very much enjoying taking part!
The event took place in the Private Room at the Town House, a bar and restaurant in the middle of Solihull, perfect for such an evening. Raffle tickets were sold in aid of Cancer Research UK.
"It was a great event, really well attended," commented Jo Stroud, owner of fabulous. "Events like this are part of the experience of shopping at fabulous, to inject a bit of fun!"

Fabulous employee receives design award!
Everyone at Fabulous was delighted when a member of the team in Solihull clinched second prize in a prestigious jewellery design competition.
Sinade Prosser, the Senior Retail Consultant in the Solihull store, is studying for a BA(Hons) in jewellery design at Birmingham's School of Jewellery.
Her designs for a matching wedding and engagement ring for a competition sponsored by leading jewellery manufacturer, Charles Green, thrilled the judges, and led to her winning second place in this prestigious competition.

Record Christmas for Fabulous
Fabulous Collections Ltd, which trades as 'Fabulous' on the high street with its two jewellery stores and www.fabulouscollections.co.uk on-line, announced record Christmas trading figures.
Jo Stroud, owner of Fabulous, expressed her delight at a busy and successful end to the year. "With like-for-like sales up by 14% this Christmas, and our new store in Solihull smashing its targets month after month, we were absolutely delighted with Christmas trading."
Fabulous saw strong sales in its core designer brands such as Pandora, Thomas Sabo and Nomination, along with exceptional performance from some of the smaller British designers like Linda Macdonald and Sarah Fenton's 'Scarlett' range.

Fabulous runs Race for Life with over 60 in the Fabulous team!
Warwick Race Course was the site of the 2008 Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK, and on Wednesday 16th July, over 60 women joined the 'Fabulous' team to run, walk or stagger their way around!
With all the staff from Fabulous, including owner Jo Stroud and the team from both shops (Leamington and Solihull) being joined by customers and friends, a team of 60 women in pink 'Fabulous' T-shirts made a fantastic sight at the race. With nearly £2000 being raised in sponsorships and donations so far, Fabulous was delighted with the
success of the event, and thrilled that so many people joined in.

A Wonderful Garden Party!
Thursday July 5th saw a brilliant turn-out for the Fabulous Summer Garden Party, with 75 guests enjoying Pimm's whilst chatting to several leading designers.
A delicious 3 course lunch in the Michelin-starred restaurant was followed by the chance to browse new jewellery collections and make a few considered purchases.
With designers including Alex Monroe and Anna Lou alongside stunning contemporary diamond jewellery and cult brand Pandora, there was something to please everyone.
Fabulous owner Jo Stroud hosted the party, and was delighted with how popular the event proved.
"We were at maximum capacity so had to disappoint several people who wanted to attend, which is always a shame. We're holding a Black Tie event on November 9th, so we're hoping that many people who wanted to attend this one can make it to that instead."

Fabulous Announces Summer Garden Party
Fabulous, the leading designer jewellery boutique, today announced details of its Summer Garden Party, to be held on Thursday July 5th at Mallory Court Relais et Chateaux Hotel.
Fabulous will be hosting several designers at the event, enabling guests to mingle and chat with leading designers about their work, their life and their inspiration, as well as seeing their new collections.

£1000 Diamond Necklace Competition Winner!
Congratulations to David Miles - the winner of a stunning £1000 Diamond Necklace.
To celebrate the shop's first anniversary, Fabulous held a competition in the Leamington Courier to win a Diamond necklace worth £1000. The necklace was in 18 Carat White Gold, with the pendant consisting of over a Third of a Carat of Diamonds.

On Wednesday 11th October, Fabulous, the contemporary jewellery retailer in Leamington Spa, hosted a charity lunch to celebrate its First Anniversary, at the Brasserie, Mallory Court. The guest of honour was Nicola Gewirtz, the owner and designer of Lola Rose Jewellery.
Throughout the afternoon, the 45 guests had the chance to view and buy many designer collections of jewellery and met and chatted with Nicola, the owner and designer of Lola Rose Jewellery.

Strawberry Tea Party for Breast Cancer Care
Fabulous held a Strawberry Tea Party on Thursday July 13th, from 4.30pm to 7pm, to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Customers enjoyed free strawberries and cream, strawberry cake, and pink bubbly, with 5 lucky customers winning £500 of jewellery between them, kindly donated by designers including Lola Rose and Dower & Hall.
Fabulous donated 10% of the takings in the shop and on the website on July 13th to Breast Cancer Care, and added this to the generous donations made by customers in the shop.

A Fabulous Time at David Beckham's World Cup Party!
When Jo Stroud, owner of Fabulous, was invited to attend David and Victoria Beckham's World Cup party on May 21st, she wanted to make sure her jewellery had a real 'wow factor'.
Leading London designers Dower & Hall were kind enough to make Jo a necklace especially for the event. In deep red garnet and grey pearls, the stunning necklace and drop earrings exactly matched her full length red dress. The look was completed with a pair of strappy Patrick Cox stilettos.
"The theme of the party was 'Full Length and Fabulous', and I certainly felt pretty fabulous in Dower & Hall's gorgeous necklace!" said Jo after the event.
With over a million pounds being raised for Unicef and other children's charities on the night, Jo was thrilled to be part of the party of the year.

An Inspiring Evening
Wednesday 10th May saw Fabulous host 30 people at an evening reception at Mallory Court Hotel, to meet talented Knightsbridge-based designers, Dower and Hall.
Delighted guests heard Dan talk about the inspiration that drives their work, with his childhood in Devon and a Cumbrian upbringing for Diane giving them both a love of nature. Dan described how initial sketches become carvings, which become the pattern for moulds, which eventually are used to cast pieces in silver.
