You
may not be familiar with this name, as we didn’t sell this gorgeous jewellery
under that brand name, when we first stocked it almost a decade ago. We called
it ‘Flower Jewellery’, as that described it perfectly.
Made with real flowers...
Using
genuine miniature flowers grown in the mountains of South America, Lash and
Jez create delicate pieces of jewellery which preserve the real flowers in
resin, and then set them in Sterling Silver.
They kicked it all off at Glastonbury Festival
Back in the 90’s, these hard-partying
boys coming up with the idea after becoming entranced by a lone daisy in a
field, as they watched the sunrise after a night’s dancing. As Lash says,
“In
those days, after long nights spent dancing, we would head to the monumental
Stone Circle and watch the sun rise up over the gorgeous fields of Somerset.
After spotting a lone daisy reaching for the early morning sunlight, a spark
was born, that eventually led to us capturing those natural wonders in jewellery.”
Flowers that last a lifetime...
Their
jewellery is hand-crafted with Sterling Silver and tiny flowers, which are
encapsulated in resin. They keep a watchful eye on the flowers, tending to them
- with love and water, as Lash would say - until they reach the perfect size. They
are then carefully picked, preserved & arranged into gorgeous jewellery.
Their
floral jewellery collections include Roses, Sunflowers, Poppies, Forget-me-nots, Daisies
and Heathers, featured in necklaces, earrings, bracelets and more.

Forest
restoration and reforestation are well-known climate solutions because of
trees’ ability to absorb carbon from the atmosphere and store it in their
biomass. This carbon absorption ability far exceeds the efficiency of any
manmade carbon removal processes that currently exist.
Much of
the reforestation work has so far been focused on planting mangroves in
Madagascar, as scientific studies have shown that mangroves sequester
carbon at a rate two to four times greater than mature tropical forests.
As well as carbon sequestration though,
planting trees is a wonderful thing to do, for many reasons. Trees provide habitat,
shade, shelter and food for local wildlife; tree planting supports biodiversity
and helps to prevent species loss; trees can provide products that local
community members can sell – like fruits - without harming the trees themselves;
tree roots help to stabilise the soil; trees help to purify air and water
sources, providing better health outcomes for local communities; and trees make
us feel better: research suggests they have a positive impact on our
mental health.
