The Fabulous Management Team
The fabulous Management Team comprises 4 people - Owner Jo Stroud; Retail and Product Manager, Anna Burkett; Creative and Brand Manager, Sinade Prosser; and Digital Manager, Pallavi Prasad. The same team are responsible for fabulous in-house brand, Mantra Jewellery.
Sinade joined the business in 2007, just 2 years after it was founded. Starting part-time in the Solihull store, she rose to become Store Manager of this, the busiest fabulous store; and added buying, creative, and own-brand development to her role over time. For many years, Jo and Sinade did all the buying together, getting to know in detail the kind of designers, pieces and collections that fabulous customers loved.
Anna joined full-time in 2009, having worked as a Christmas temporary member of staff before that. She soon became Deputy Manager of the Solihull store, along with a role managing stock across the business - and over time, took on the management of the Leamington store. When Sinade moved into a full-time office-based role, Anna ran both stores, as well as retaining her product management role.
Pallavi joined in 2017, bringing a wealth of online and SEO experience to the team, following many years in ecommerce and digital roles, working with companies such as Vodafone.
Jo launched fabulous in 2005, with the first store in Leamington Spa. Solihull came next, then Milton Keynes and Bath, followed by a Pandora store in Bath. From day one, the fabulous website was also an important and thriving part of the business. Now, we have closed all of our stores, and are an online-only company.
The team has always looked out for new, exciting and different brands to stock in the stores. fabulous was an early stockist of many top brands, being one of the first UK stockists of Nomination and Lola Rose in 2005, Pandora in 2006, Thomas Sabo in 2007, Chan Luu in 2009, ChloBo, GoodWorks and Bering in 2011, and breakthrough Dutch brand, Nikki Lissoni, in 2012; Cruciani in 2013; Alex and Ani in 2014; The Giving Keys in 2015 and Les Georgettes in 2017. The team seek out up-and-coming designers and little-known collections every season, to add to the well-known brands.
In 2015, the team started working on in-house collections, culminating in the 2016 launch of award-winning Mantra Jewellery and Life's Journey.
