|Each month, we will feature a different bangle with a different meaning, to inspire us all to examine different aspects of our lives – our health, our relationships, our finances, our state of mind, our environment – and see how we can change them for the better. |
Tell us how you’re planning to change your life this year, and you could win a different bangle each month – and one lucky winner will win £150 at the end of the year to create their own stack of Alex and Ani bangles, bursting with positive energy!
|We can’t believe how fast this year has gone, here we are in December with our final bangle of the month blog! The Peace bangle is December’s bangle of the month which couldn’t be more appropriate at this time of year. Christmas is the season of goodwill, joy and giving thanks for all that we have, nonetheless, it can also be a stressful time and anything but peaceful, so here are our top tips on making it a peaceful Christmas from the fabulous team… |
Jo Stroud (Owner of fabulous)
“It can be hard when both sets of parents want to spend Christmas with you, but are at opposite ends of the country. We have always taken turns – we spend Christmas with one set of parents and New Year with the other; then swap it around the following year, with no exceptions. It has worked well for us for a dozen years or so, and makes for a stress-free Christmas period without any arguments about who is going where!” - Jo
Rhian Mainwaring (eCommerce Manager)
“Christmas shopping is my favourite thing in the world, I absolutely love buying my friends and family gifts. I buy all my main presents for them online and order them well in advance, then I take to the high-street to pick up the extra bits to go under the tree. My brother and Dad get a link to a Pinterest board so they know what I’d like – it’s not traditional but it takes the stress out of choosing for them! The more organised you can be, the less stressed!”
Sinade Prosser (Solihull Manager)
“I work out what our menu will be for Christmas at the beginning of the month and do an online order. That means I get the delivery slot I want and don’t have the stress of working out food too close to the time.”
Becky Johnson (Bath Manager)
“I wrap my presents as soon as I buy them. I love wrapping presents and it’s much more fun to do it in stages rather than having the stress of wrapping them all in one go at the end. It gets me in the festive mood and it means that prying eyes won’t discover their gifts!”
Laura Caves (Leamington Manager)
“Do your shopping early, it stops a last minute rush which is extremely stressful as often you won’t be able to buy the things you wanted. It’s also busier in stores closer to Christmas so you’ll find yourself queuing and getting frustrated.”
